Ontwikkelaar Tate Multimedia en uitgever Trialforge Studio hebben een Soulslike Actie-game genaamd Deathbound aangekondigd. De game zal ergens in 2024 op Steam verschijnen op de PC. Voorlopig lijkt het er niet op dat de game op consoles verschijnen.
Spelers zullen in Deathbound op kruistocht moeten gaan in een middeleeuwse verloren samenleving genaamd Ziemenal. Ziemenal is een meedogenloze wereld met duistere wezens die je het leven moeilijk zullen maken. Om te overleven in deze wereld zal je de ”essence” van verslagen wezens moeten absorberen. Dit zal toegang geven tot allerlei nieuwe skills. Verder zal het mogelijk zijn om aanvallen van verschillende classes te combineren door middel van ”Morphstrikes”.
