Eén van de grootste nieuws outlets van Amerika is ongetwijfeld IGN die altijd groot uitpakten op de E3-beurs. Nu de E3 niet meer doorgaat wegens het Coronavirus, gaat IGN zelf proberen om een mini E3 te houden.
Het voorlopige schema voor IGN’s Summer of Gaming is inmiddels bekendgemaakt. Het evenement begint op 4 juni en eindigt op 24 juni. Grote uitgevers waaronder 2K Games, Amazon, Bandai Namco, Devolver Digital, Google, SEGA, Square-Enix en THQ Nordic doen mee met Summer of Gaming. Gamers kunnen uitkijken naar livestreams met daarin presentaties, previews, interviews, discussies, hands-on demo’s, nieuwssegmenten en meer.
IGN bevestigt dat we uit kunnen kijken naar nieuwe beelden en informatie rondom Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Wasteland 3, Mortal Shell, New World, Corepunk, Scarlet Nexus en Mafia: Definitive Edition (de remake niet de remaster) en meer.
