Tegen het einde van een generatie, komt Sony altijd met PlayStation Hits. Voor maar 14,99 of 19,99, kan je topgames kopen voor de PlayStation 4. PlayStation Hits-games zijn gewoon identiek aan de normale versies maar, beschikken ze over een speciale boxart en een lagere prijs.
Topgames als Bloodborne en Uncharted 4 waren al beschikbaar als een PlayStation Hits-game. Vanaf 28 juni komen er nog vijf topgames beschikbaar. Deze zijn God of War III: Remastered, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Horizon: Zero Dawn, NioH en Friday the 13th: The Game.
