Het grootste FIFA toernooi van de Wereld heeft in een filmpje de naamsverandering van FIFA Interactive World Cup(FIWC) naar FIFA eWorld Cup. Daarbij wordt er ook nog in het filmpje aangetoond hoe de weg naar de grote finales in zijn werk zal gaan.

Kwalificaties
Vanaf 3 november start de kwalificaties om je weg richting de eWorld Cup Grand Final 18 te beginnen. In de maand november kun je je kwalificeren voor de Global Series Playoffs via de FUT Champions Weekend League. De Top 64 van de Maandelijkse wereldranglijst van beide consoles(PS4 en Xbox One) Plaatsen zich voor de Global series Playoffs.
